Sorry for the inconvenience, Construction in progress. This is commonly posted in our stairs going from ground floor up to the 3rd floor area. In the past months, continuous hammering of walls and irritable noises can be heard from the hospital. At last this will be over, construction of 4th floor area is almost over. Air conditioning units are installed. New Hospital beds, bedside and overbed tables are placed on each room. Fabricated cabinets and benches are finished as scheduled. An additional 36 private rooms will be opened this coming June 2012 complete with amenities like LCD TV, Gas Piping, Refrigerator and others.
Ya ol... ola ...We have an elevator. Oh Ha.. OH Ha...Yes.. our elevator is already installed. A 5ft x 8ft conveyor cabinet with a load capacity of 1200kgs. More or less 20 persons inside or a full length stretcher. Everyone is excited to use it most especially the senior citizen who are unable to use the stairs going to 3rd floor.
Sad to say employees are not allowed to use it except when accompanied by a patient or relative.
Another development that we should look up....
Hemodialysis expansion...Due to increasing demand hemodialysis, MLMC signed a contract with Hemotech Phils. 20 modern dialysis machine will be installed in 2nd floor area covering rooms 205, 206, 207 and 208. Hopefully construction and installation will be finished by the end June 2012. Another break thru and a milestone for MLMC.
From Marketing/Service Department
MLMC conducted a medical mission at Brgy. 2, Lipa City, Batangas. It was attended by several residents of the barangay both young and old. Free medical consultation are given by Dr. Percival Lojo, Dra. Lovely Cacho, Dra. Imelda Siasoco, Dr. Reggie Siasoco, Dr. Tyrone Tecson and others doctors from each departments. Likewise, generous pharmaceutical companies donated medicines and examinations like free FBS, CBC, ECG and Bone scanning.
At 12:00 PM, the event is finished with everyone wearing smile in their face.
From Management Information Department
Announcement, MLMC is now a wifi zone.. partially at least at the out patient department, main lobby area and 3rd floor area. Currently we are planning to increase its availability to our clients by using pldt dsl which more reliable and faster. Likewise, we will additional wireless routers at the 2nd floor and 4th floor area.
The MIS and the hospital administration hopes to attract more clients by these service and furthermore making MLMC environment closer to home.
